We are excited about a brand new church plant that we have launched here in London. Downham Baptist Church is located in southeast London surrounded by thousands of people in need of the Gospel. Just on our street alone I have spoken with free masons, muslims, hindus and atheists…they need Jesus and we pray that we can bring light into this dark needy place. Already, Travis and I have been very encouraged by the response we have seen in the area. Each week we have seen new visitors, along with a man from our earlier Bible study in Eltham.
Please continue to pray with us as this church is just in the early days. We are limited on our meeting place for the moment, leaving us to meet at irregular times on Sundays and Tuesday, but Lord willing, we should hear back about a potential building soon.
